THE LAMP OF WISDOM “O you the blissful Light, light up the lamp of shining wisdom in my heart.’ . Discrimination is the lamp of wisdom. Devotion is the oil. Communion with God is the pure air to foster the lamp. Consciousness born of continence is the wick. Desireless heart is the lamp stand. It is protected against the wind of greed. The Lord's Presence is the flame of that lamp .
